Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge Plus to launch on August 13?!

It’s that time again when Samsung Mobile is going to announce their new latest series of smartphones to the mobile market.

Many would be expecting the Galaxy Note 5 to feature in the oncoming Samsung UNPACKED event which normally scheduled at Q4. But according to our sources, it seems Samsung will announce the Galaxy Note 5 on August 13, whereas another device called Galaxy S6 edge Plus will also feature alongside the Galaxy Note 5! Furthermore, sources also claimed these two devices to go on sale on the same launch date!

While we can not confirm how soon it will reach our local market, Samsung stated these two smartphones will showcased for the US market accompanied by the official launch of Samsung Pay.

On the specifications, Galaxy Note 5 will be offering a thin bezel display with new metal and glass design that is largely used on most high end smartphone as of late. The S6 edge Plus on the other hand is likely to inherit the S6 edge design language which is not going to be much of a change there.

The new S Pen will be looking more like a pen now and to share the same color as the device. The Galaxy Note 5 will be coming with silver, gold, black and white color variants which can be seen on current Galaxy Note 4 color choices.

The Galaxy S6 edge Plus will be  powered by the Exynos 7420 instead of a Snapdragon 808, and offers 3GB of RAM, while the Note 5 will be featuring 4GB of LP-DDR4 RAM.

We believed Samsung’s next UNPACKED event will be interesting to watch as we shall be anticipating two flagship smartphones waiting to be unleashed!
