OPPO R11s and R11s Plus unveiled: 18:9 display, dual camera setup plus AI Beauty Recognition !


OPPO has officially unveiled the OPPO F5 in Malaysia just recently. Meanwhile in China, OPPO has also released yet another Full view display lineup called OPPO R11s and R11s Plus.

Being the sibling of the OPPO R11 series, the R11s and R11s Plus basically share the same specs as the former despite having different exterior look.

The R11s is offered in Black, Red and Champagne color options. Presented with a 6.01 inch 18:9 Full HD+ display and Gorilla Glass 5 protection, it has an 85.8% screen to body ratio. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage up to 256 GB via microSD card.

It is packed with a 3,205 mAh battery that is supported with VOOC Flash charge technology, while the fingerprint scanner is placed on the back panel. Out of the box, it is running OPPO’s ColorOS 3.2 UI based on Android Nougat.

Camera wise, the R11s sports dual 16 MP and 20 MP rear cameras with f/1.7 apertures, 2.0µm pixels and dual-LED flash. The front camera on the other hand is a 20MP snapper with AI Beauty Recognition tech.

As for the R11s Plus, besides its 6.43-inch display, 6 GB of RAM and its 4,000 mAh battery, the other hardware are basically identical to the R11s.

The R11s will hit the China market on November 10 with a retail price of CNY 2,999 (~RM1919) for black and champagne variants, whereas the red model will be priced at CNY 3,199 (~RM2047). The R11s Plus will debut on November 24 for CNY 3,699 (~RM2367).
