Xiaomi unveiled Redmi Note 4 in Malaysia for RM799: Preorder starts on March 10 and go on sale on March 16

After releasing the teaser on Mi Malaysia Facebook page for the past few days, Xiaomi Malaysia has officially announced the availability of Redmi Note 4 in Malaysia today.

The all new Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 packs a 5.5 inches full HD screen with 2.5D curved glass display, Snapdragon 625 octa core processor and a 4,100 mAh capacity battery.

For its memory option, Xiaomi Malaysia has decided to release one model only which is offering 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM. The storage capacity can be further expanded with a microSD card for up to 128GB.

For its rear camera, Redmi Note 4 offers a 13-megapixel CMOS sensor equipped with PDAF (phase detection autofocus), an f/2.0 aperture, 77-degree wide angle lens, and dual-tone LED flash. Its selfie snapper is provided with a 5-megapixel CMOS sensor, coupled with an 85-degree wide angle lens.

The device will come with dual-SIM (Micro+Nano) that supports 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity. Out of the box, it runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Also, there’s a fingerprint scanner located on the back of the device as well as a infrared blaster on top.

There are a few colour options available for the Redmi Note 4 which are silver, grey, gold and black. Nevertheless, the availability of the blue colour variant is still remain unknown for now.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be priced at RM799. The pre-order starts at 12pm on 10th of March at Mi Official store on Lazada website while the official sale will be on 16th of March.
