Wiko Ufeel Go Review: Value for money and Durable!
The French manufacturer Wiko has added a new member to its Ufeel family, namely Wiko Ufeel Go.
Wiko Ufeel Go is a low cost smartphone that features 2.5D 5 inch HD display, fingerprint scanner and a massive 4,000 mAh size battery at the price of RM 599 in Malaysia.

First of all, we would like to discuss about the design of Wiko Ufeel Go. The Wiko Ufeel Go’s appearance is more or less similar to other Ufeel Series’s design language.
The Ufeel Go presents a High Definition resolution display and offers a sleek metal design at the back panel.
The device is surrounded with rounded edges, smooth curved back cover and its 5 inch size really feels comfortable when we are holding it.
It is worth pointing out that the back of the device is not slippery. Thus, the cover that Wiko free Ufeel Go users can be used to protect it from scratch or drop.
Based on the image, on top of the front panel there’s a notification light, selfie flash and a front camera. The bottom part has a navigation bar and a home button with fingerprint sensor embedded on it that support up to five fingerprints.
Moving to the back, it has a rear camera with LED flash support on the top left corner. The Wiko Logo is placed at the center and the speaker grill is situated on the lowest part of the rear panel.
The volume rocker and the power button is located at the right side of the device. The micro USB charging port however is located at the bottom left side of the phone.
Its 3.5mm earphone jack is situated at the top of the phone.
Overall, the Wiko Ufeel Go in fact feels good and value for it’s design. It has a considerable size for users with either tiny or big palm.

Wiko Ufeel Go is powered by 1.3GHz Quad core Mediatek MT6737 processor and equipped with 2GB of RAM + 16GB of storage (microSD card expandable up to 64GB).

Antutu Benchmark Score
Based on our test, Ufeel Go acquired a total score of 26911 at Antutu Benchmark. In addition, we also test the Ufeel Go with GeekBench and we get the score 533 for single core and 1481 for multi core.
Although the Wiko Ufeel Go is using Mediatek M6737 processor, but its gaming experience did not disappoint us at all. We do not suffer any obvious “lag” issue during our gameplay test.
For medium graphic games, Wiko Ufeel Go can handle it with ease but when we test it on some graphic intensive games, you may have to tolerate with some lag issue, stuttering and large frame drops issue during gameplay test.
For the device’s speaker performance, we are surprise that the speaker is quite loud but the audio quality still have room for improvement.
One of the impressive feature on Wiko Ufeel Go lies on its fingerprint sensor which can unlock the device within 0.48 second. Besides, we also can set up to five fingerprints to more secure the device.
It also enable us to link an application to open or link a contact to call that make us more convenient by using fingerprints.
Moreover, we also can use the fingerprint to access encrypted files and unlock protected applications.
Wiko Ufeel Go offers a 13MP Rear Camera with single LED flash support to capture better quality of photos. While, the front camera comes with a 5MP with a selfie flash to has a better selfie even under dark environment.
The Wiko Ufeel Go has a few modes for the rear camera such as normal, face beauty, pro, panorama, HDR, Night and Sports mode.
The Ufeel Go rear camera also has some settings that we can set up like touch shot, flash mode, smile shot, self timer, anti-flicker and more before we take the picture.

Ufeel Go has a good shooting result for outdoor shots, the color reproduction and image processing are close to natural style.
Although the Ufeel Go do not support PDAF (Phase detection autofocus technology), but when we focus manually we also can capture better quality photos as seen above.
The phone do not support OIS (optical image stabilizer) or any anti shake technology on the device, so we have to keep our hands stable while taking photo to prevent photo become blur.

The Wiko Ufeel Go night mode shot is considered acceptable, but we can not hide the fact that there are a lot of noise in the photo which we have to cope with it at such price tag.

Another highlight of Wiko Ufeel Go falls on its non-removable 4,000 mAh big battery. It uses a micro USB connector for charging and transfer data purposes.
Although the Ufeel Go do not support fast charge, but you can be sure that the Ufeel Go will give an impressive battery life with its large capacity powerpack.
We have tested the Ufeel Go battery performance on which it can last up to 2 days for moderate users. As for heavy users, it can still sustain a day without charge. Thus, there’s no need to worry about the battery will ran out easily.
Apart from that, we have also tested the charging time taken for the device. It took us around 3 hours to charge from 13 percent to full which can be considered acceptable even though it lacks fast charge support.
Furthermore, Ufeel Go also feature power sharing capabilities that we can use the Ufeel Go as a powerbank to charge other mobile devices when we forgot to bring our powerbank during our outings.
The Wiko Ufeel Go comes with the WikoUI system with Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out the box. The Wiko own UI is quite smooth and good for a low entry smartphone because it do not have much bloatware inside.
We do not know Ufeel Go will receive the Android Nougat update yet but the phone is not powerful enough to handle heavy themes and lots of extra functions, so it is good for Wiko to stay at Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Another feature for WikoUI is has a Wiko Phone Assists which is an all-in-one phone management application that can control app notifications, startup apps, default apps, and app permissions, as well as the power saver and check system updates.
Besides, the Wiko Ufeel Go also pre-installed with 360 security app to keep your phone running smooth without any junk files and virus.
As a low cost smartphone, the Wiko Ufeel Go still can attract people attention in the smartphone market by offering good look, long lasting battery and fingerprint scanners that support up to five fingerprints.
The specifications for Ufeel Go are generally considered acceptable and with its given features make it one of the value phone to buy with the price tag of RM 599 only.
