MWC 2017: Sony Xperia XZ Premium, World’s first Snapdragon 835-powered smartphone!

Although Sony is facing big loss on smartphone market, but this didn’t stop them to keep on moving further and bring us more brilliant smartphone! Today in MWC 2017, Sony had launched their latest premium flagship smartphone, the Xperia XZ Premium!The Sony Xperia XZ Premium marks Sony’s return to 4K mobile screens, but added HDR support to the 5.5″ panel and increased brightness by 40% over the Z5 Premium.

Another first is the Motion Eye camera – it can record 960fps slow-mo videos, 4x the frame rate of the current best phones.

Under the hood, Xperia XZ Premium features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, making it one of the first smartphones capable of “Gigabit Class LTE”, offering download speeds of up to 1 Gbps.

Meanwhile, Snapdragon 835 platform also supports graphics-intensive gaming, and works with the PlayStation 4, so you can play games from your console on your smartphone.

The biggest selling point of Xperia XZ Premium is the super slow-mo camera. The camera has 19MP high resolution sensor, with 19% larger pixels to help you capture sharp, detailed images in low-light and backlit conditions. It has “memory stacked image sensor” capable of recording in HD at a rate of 960 frames per second, meaning you can create videos and play them back in super slow motion – four times slower than on other smartphones.

Besides, Sony Xperia XZ Premium also features water and dust proof, which mean you can use your phone under any condition without worrying. The price and official selling date are yet to be confirm.
