Sony PlayStation Now only Supports PC and PS4, No more for Others!

If you do not own a PS4, do not subscribe to PlayStation Now. Or if you have already subscribed to it, get ready to cancel your subscription. PlayStation Now will no longer work for PS3, PS Vita, and PSTV and smart TV users within 6 months!

Sony just announced that its cloud gaming service will only support its flagship console – PS4 and Windows PC users later this year.

From 15th August 2017 onwards, PlayStation Now will stop supporting PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation TV as well as all Sony Bravia TVs, every Sony Blu-ray player and all Samsung smart TVs with access to the service.

Sony is optimistic about the decision, explaining that it will build a better user experience on the remaining two platforms.

Still, Sony has granted users sufficient advanced notice for PS3 and Vita users to finish up any games they are currently playing and ensure their subscriptions are cancelled within six months.

Sadly, any Bravia TV made after 2015 will have its service discontinued on April 1st.
