Samsung S6 edge Plus received SIRIM Malaysia’s certification!

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus was said to be announced at Samsung’s unpacked event scheduled on August 13 alongside the long awaited Samsung flagship Note series, the Galaxy Note 5.

Earlier we had reported that the Galaxy Note 5 had passed the SIRIM Malaysia’s certification, and now its Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus’s turn to get its certification on SIRIM Malaysia’s database.

So what are we expecting from the Galaxy S6 edge Plus? It seems that Samsung will be gearing up Dual SIM card slots for its flagship lineup devices from this year onwards as we have seen the s6 edge Plus as well as the Galaxy Note 5 both will be equipped with two SIM cards slots.

The model name for the Galaxy s6 edge Plus in our local market is SM-G9287C, it will be offering a 5.7 inch Quad HD display and pairing with 4GB of RAM and a 3,000 mAh size of battery. Apart from the dual SIM card slots, we might be expecting a microSD/SIM card hybrid combo slot which is more commonly seen in China brand devices.

Will Samsung offer their own Exynos SoC instead of Qualcomm chipset? All shall be revealed on August 13’s Samsung unpacked event.
