Do you still remember about Huawei was reported for using multiple different memory configurations on their flagships Huawei P10 and P10 Plus? Users will be paying the same price for the device which has been given different RAM ( LPDDR3 or LPDDR4) and storage ( eMMC 5.1, UFS 2.0, or UFS 2.1).


According to XDA Developers, some users found out that Samsung also quietly removes the UFS 2.1 mentioned in the Galaxy S8 / S8 Plus official website. So, Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ could equip either UFS 2.0 or UFS 2.1 for the storage!

Most of the Galaxy S8 which features Exynos processor are coupled with the UFS2.1 flash memory, but half of the Galaxy S8 which powered by Snapdragon processor are bundled with UFS2.0 flash memory.

If you are worry about your S8/S8+ features which flash memory. Users only need to download the Material Terminal and enter the command: cat / proc / scsi / scsi will be able to check.
