Samsung Galaxy S8 scores 88 points at DxOMark

DxOMark, the trusted camera and image quality rating source, has just given Samsung’s newest flagships Galaxy S8 and S8+ an extensive testing and given a score of 88, same as Samsung’s previous flagship the S7 and S7 edge.

DxOMark said Samsung Galaxy S8 has three main strengths: excellent autofocus, accurate white balance, and very effective noise reduction for still photography.

Video recording is where the Galaxy S8 comes out at the top, improved the most over its predecessor. S8 provides effective stabilisation in video mode, along with balanced exposures and a wide dynamic range. The weakness of Samsung in video mode is noise, which is more visible compared to previous Samsung devices and particularly visible in low light.

It’s one of the best cameras you can have in a smartphone!
