Samsung Galaxy S8: Microsoft Edition

In the past, Samsung has already bundled few Microsoft applications such as Skype, OneDrive and OneNote on their devices such as Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S7 etc.

After Samsung Galaxy S8 was unveiled, Microsoft is planning to offer Samsung Galaxy S8 (and S8 Plus) Microsoft Edition which is bundling Microsoft’s apps and services like Office, OneDrive, Outlook and Cortana.

You can pre-order the devices now from Microsoft’s US retail stores in the US and both of them will be available on April 21.

Samsung just released their new virtual assistant( Bixby) , but Mircosoft would insert their virtual assistant into these two new phones. So among Bixby or Cortana, which one will be activated when we pressed the quick button?

Microsoft stated that when the devices are connected to Wi-Fi, those custom Mircosoft app will be downloaded and installed immediately.

While the regular versions of the Galaxy S8 already bundled with Office apps, the alternate edition features more apps such as Cortana, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, One Note, Bing, Groove, Skype and MSN News.

The customization seems like it can provide customers a best-in-class productivity experience with Microsoft applications.
