Samsung Galaxy A8 officially announced

UPDATE: Samsung Galaxy A8 is available in Malaysia now at for a retail price of RM1,799.

Samsung Galaxy A8 was rumored to launch after it was leaked all over the internet with its specifications and design.

On July 14, Samsung has finally made the Galaxy A8 official. It is by far the thinnest smartphone the company has ever made with a measurement of just 5.9mm depth.

The latest Galaxy A smartphone is sporting a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, it  is powered by a Snapdragon 615 Octa Core processor. It is mated with 2GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of expandable storage up to 128GB.

On the camera, it has a 16MP rear shooter and a 5MP front snapper. It packs a 3,050 mAh size battery, dual SIM with 4G LTE connectivity and a fingerprint sensor on the home button.

Based on source’s report, it will be available in China market soon. The device will be available in white, black and gold color variants.

Although official has yet to announced its retail price, but we have reported earlier that the Galaxy A8 will be retailed in Malaysia at a retail price of RM1,888.
