OPPO R11 and Xiaomi Mi Max 2 appeared at SIRIM database
We have been notified by our regular tipster, Kevin Ng that both OPPO R11 and Xiaomi Mi Max 2 have already been approved by SIRIM Malaysia’s certification. This basically reflect that both models will be introduced in the local market very soon.
The OPPO model codenamed CPH1707 registered under OPPO is the newly launched OPPO R11 which was announced this month. While the Xiaomi device with MDE40 codename is supposed to be the Mi Max 2 which debuted last month.
Oppo R11 offers a 5.5 inches AMOLED FHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM along with a 2900 mAh cell capacity.
Camera wise, the R11 features dual camera construction on the rear panel (20 megapixel sensor + 16 megapixel sensor) with 2x optical zoom for better close up images, along with a Portrait mode. The R11 will also have a large 20 MP sensor for its front facing selfie camera.
Specifications wise, the Mi Max 2 houses a 6.44 inch Full HD display and it is powered by Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, a 14nm FINfit technology.
Mi Max 2 is packed with a massive 5,300 mAh battery. According to Xiaomi, this device promised with 9 hours of continuous gaming or 21 hours continuous navigation or 57 hour continuous talktime or even 10 day continuous music playback. Don’t be worried about the charging time of this monster battery, the phone support Qualcomm QC3.0 feature. One hour of charging return 68% of juice.
Furthermore Mi Max 2 supports parallel charging via USB Type-C, while also provides fingerprint scanner for enhanced protection along with a InfraRed blaster to remote electrical appliances in your house.
The Mi Max 2 comes with the 12MP IMX386 camera sensor. The pixel size of the sensor increased to 1.25um. That mean we are expecting better quality of pictures with night mode enhancement feature. Other camera specs include PDAF, dual tone LED flash, and dynamic range adjustment.
