New Mi Notebook Air leaked with 8GB RAM, priced from CNY4999?

Xiaomi has stepped into the PC industry last year by introducing its first notebook namely Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air. Known for good value for money products, Xiaomi’s second laptop that is scheduled to be released this year that’s said to be the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air has been leaked online recently.

Source from China revealed its supposed specifications. From the alleged press render, the device appears to house a 13.3-inch IPS LCD display panel with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, with its body measurement of 309.6 × 210.9 × 14.8mm and weighing in at around 1.5kg,.

Under the hood, it is said to be powered by Intel’s i5-7200U processor and 8GB of DDR4 RAM, plus a Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU graphic card.

The available connectivity options includes a USB Type-C, HDMI port, and Bluetooth 4.0. Additionally, the latest Mi Notebook Air will also pack a 256GB solid state disk (SSD) and a 4-cell Lithium-ion battery.

To complete its main features, there will be a fingerprint sensor integrated into the top-right corner of the Mi Notebook Air’s touchpad and a complete QWERTY keyboard.

The source also exposed that the new Mi Notebook Air is expected to cost CNY4,999 for the base model. There will be two variations which believed to differ in terms of internal SSD capacity.

Another source revealed that this upcoming new Xiaomi laptop will launch on June 12 along with same day pre-orders in China.
