MWC 2017: Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 launched, Nokia 6 will hit global market too!

Nokia has officially marked its return to the mobile industry this year with the introduction of Nokia 6 in the China market earlier last month.

Now, HMD Global has brought two new smartphones to Barcelona for an international showcase at the MWC 2017 event.

This two new models: Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 which both are being categorised in the budget segment. The Nokia 3 is an entry level device with a 5 inch HD display and powered by a Snapdragon 425 processor. It is coupled with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and 2,650mAh capacity battery. Camera wise, it uses a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter. Its retail price will be EUR139 (~RM651).

Nokia 5 on the other hand is a mid-range model that offers a 5.2 inch 720p screen and is running on a Snapdragon 430 processor. It is coupled with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 3,000 mAh size battery. Its camera adopts a 13MP rear snapper and a 5MP selfie camera. It will set you back EUR189 (~RM886).

For those of you who have been anticipating the arrival of Nokia 6 to our market, HMD Global is preparing to launch it globally. There will also introduce a special edition Arte Black version of the Nokia 6 that is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. For its pricing, the standard Nokia 6 will cost EUR229 (~RM1,073), while the Arte Black Nokia 6 will be retailed at EUR299 (~RM1,401) when it is available.

These Nokia smartphones will be running on a pure version of Android Nougat and will also gain access to Google Assistant right out of the box.
