Motorola unveils Moto X Style, Moto X Play and 3rd Gen Moto G
Motorola has unveiled three new smartphones today for the global market. They are Moto X Style, Moto X Play, and Moto G 2015 (3rd Gen).
Moto X Style is the company’s flagship phone which offers high end specs. It is retailed from USD200 to USD300 which is relatively lower than other 2015 flagships in the market now.
Moto X Play on the other hand is a mid ranger that comes with Full HD display and large capacity battery. The 3rd Gen Moto G is an affordable smartphone that only costs USD179 while offering decent looking specs.
The Moto X Style is offering a 5.7″ QHD display, and it is powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor. It uses a Motorola self-claimed best ever produced 21MP rear-facing camera, 5MP wide-angle front-facing camera, microSD card slot, Android 5.1 Lollipop with minimal Moto software tweaks, and featuring the world’s fastest battery charge time.
The Moto X Style will be available in September at a retail price of just USD399 (approx. RM1,516).
The Moto X Play on the other hand is a mid range smartphone that comes with 5.5″ 1080p FHD display, Snapdragon 615 processor, 3,630mAh large capacity battery, 21MP rear-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, microSD card slot, and 4G LTE connectivity.
The main feature lies on the water resistance capability of this device, but it was reported that it should not be submerged for too long.
This midranger will go on general sale next month.
Moto G (3rd Gen)
Last but not least is the 3rd Generation Moto G. With a retail price of just USD179 (approx. RM680), it is equipped with a 5 inch HD display, Snapdragon 410 processor, 13MP rear-facing camera, and IPX7 water resistance.
There are two variants of 3rd generation Moto G in the market which consists of 1GB RAM/8GB ROM variant and 2GB RAM/16GB ROM variant. It goes on sale now and we believed many would be attracted by its affordable price with nice looking specs.
