Motorola announced Moto Z2 Force, featuring Snapdragon 835 and dual 12MP rear cameras

Motorola announced the Moto Z2 Force at Motorola’s press conference in New York. The new device is much thinner than its predecessor Moto Z Force.

Moto Z2 Force has a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad HD AMOLED with Motorola’s ShatterShield display technology which guaranteed not to crack or shatter. The 6.1mm thick sleek unibody design not only sacrifices the 3.5mm headphone jack, also the battery capacity. The device has a 2,730mAh battery compared to the 3,500mAh battery in the old Moto Z Force.

Moto Z2 Force comes with a Snapdragon 835, 4GB/6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage. The device features a dual 12-megapixel f/2.0 rear cameras and a 5-megapixel sensor front camera. It also has a MicroSD slot, and running Android 7.1.1 out of the box.

A series of Moto Mods products were unveiled alongside Moto Z2 Force launch, including a $300 360 4K camera mod, Moto Game Pad.

The Moto Z2 Force will come in Super Black or Fine Gold. The device will arrive US stores on 10 August for $799.99 (Approximate RM3430).
