Moto G5S Plus first look

Moto G5S Plus steps up the production values from the Moto G5 line. The ‘S’ stands for Special Edition. It is a premium experience at a budget price.

Moto G5S Plus is made of unibody metal design with a glass covering the entire front of the phone. It has a 5.5-inch great viewing angles full HD IPS LCD display.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 clocked at 2.0 GHz along with an Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with either 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage or 4GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage. You can expand the storage by using an external microSD card up to 128 GB.

The most interesting feature of G5S Plus is the dual camera on the back. The camera sports dual 13 MP sensors on the back with an f/2.0 aperture. It is rare at this price point. It also has an 8 MP wide angle lens camera module with f/2.0 aperture on the front. Users will be able to shoot 4K video at 30 fps.

The smartphone comes with a fast and accurate fingerprint sensor. Sadly, it still uses a micro USB port instead of the reversible USB Type-C standard. It also supports NFC for Android Pay payments. It runs Android Nougat 7.1 out of the box and comes with a 3,000 mAh battery.

Motorola has created a premium smartphone experience that require less money you expect to pay.
