Moto C and C Plus officially launched

The long-rumoured Moto C and C Plus had officially launched  on yesterday! The ultra-affordable handsets are aimed first-time smartphone buyers in developing markets, and will hit various countries across Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific this spring.

For Moto C there will be a 3G version, starting at EUR 89 (roughly RM427) with 1GB RAM/8GB storage, and a 4G option starting at EUR 99 (roughly RM474) with 1GB RAM/8GB storage. While, Moto C Plus will start at a price of EUR 119 (roughly RM570) for 1GB RAM/16GB storage model.

Both Moto C and C Plus would be powered by MediaTek MT6737M quad-core processors and running on Android 7.0 Nougat. Although both of them are equipped with a 5-inch display, Moto C will get 854×480 resolution and Moto C Plus will feature 1280 x 720 resolution.

The Moto C offers 1 GB RAM, 8GB or 16GB ROM, 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera with LED flash and a 2350mAh battery.

The Moto C Plus will offer 1GB or 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera with LED flashes, a large 4000mAh size battery and LTE connectivity.

Both the Moto C smartphones are seen sporting capacitive navigation buttons, without fingerprint scanner support. The speaker grill is seen at the back of the smartphones, while the 3.5mm audio jack sits on the top edge.
