If you like the LG G6’s design but prefer something cheaper, LG has got you covered with their newly launched LG Q6 series that offers the same style of “FullVision” 18:9 display as the G6 with small bezels to carry on the looks of LG’s flagship model.

Categorized in the midrange segment, the Q6 itself has trimmed down its specification from the display to its internal hardware. The Q6’s display is using a 5.5 inch screen with 2160×1080 pixel resolution, it is powered by a Snapdragon 435 processor, and a smaller size battery of 3,000 mAh capacity.

For the photography department, it uses a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter with 100-degree wide angle.  Ironically, it doesn’t come with a fingerprint scanner!

Apart from the standard Q6 model, there’s actually two more variants with different sizes called LG Q6+, and Q6α (alpha). For the memory options, the Q6+ has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, the standard Q6 has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage while the Q6α has 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage. In terms of color options, each will have black and platinum with another additional color choice. All three models will be running Android Nougat OS out of the box.

The LG Q6 family will hit Asia markets in August, and will further expand to Europe, Latin America and North America thereafter. The retail price for these the LG Q6 lineup will be announced on a later date.
