Lenovo’s Yoga A12 — Affordable Android 2-in-1 Tablet

Lenovo’s new Android tablet, the Yoga A12, which the design elements are very much similar to the Yoga Book, will be released starting 8th February 2017 on Lenovo’s website.
It features the same Halo keyboard found on the Yoga Book, where this Halo keyboard is a fully flat, touchscreen keyboard that is smarter than most other keyboards.

The main focus of this product is it features what Lenovo calls a “multi-tasking hybrid UI”, as well as Google’s Productivity Suite.

It’s super thin, opening to just 5.4mm at its slimmest edge. The device will be able to convert into four work modes, which will allow you to easily watch movies, browse the internet, and type out an essay on a number of different surfaces, work environment and settings.

Spec- wise, the A12 has a comfortable 12.2-inch HD display, two Dolby Atmos-powered speakers, an Intel Atom x5 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a battery life that can last up to 13 hours on a single charge.

Unlike the original Yoga Book, this new device does not come with the Real Pen stylus and runs only Android OS. But of course, the price for the new tablet is more affordable, which starts from $299 (around RM 1,324).

The A12’s chassis is made of premium magnesium and aluminium comes in Gunmetal Grey and Rose Gold colours.
