LeEco and Huawei quietly register the trademark of “full screen display”

According Sina reports, a subsidiary of LeEco applied for a “full screen display” trademark in March this year. According to the application documents, the “full screen display” trademark will be used for interactive touch screen terminals, smartphones and televisions.

The status of the LeEco’s trademark’s application is now at substantive review. If LeEco successfully registered the trademark, other smartphone manufacturers can no longer use the words of “full screen display” anymore.

While LeEco’s trademark application pending review in China, Huawei also submits a trademark application of “full screen display” with the EU Intellectual Property Office.
