  Latest Food Service In Town : UberEATS Now Goes Live

Uber today has introduced a new expansion line up services in Malaysia called the UberEATS. The service will be available starting from 21 September onwards, Kuala Lumpur is the 10th UberEATS city in Asia.

As the beginning of the service, it will be available only in Kuala Lumpur central business district, Bangsar, and Damansara Heights. It is expected to expand to other parts of Klang Valley and the country very soon as part of the company plan. Customers will gain the access to order their meal from 200 restaurants through the service at launch.

While for the charges, each order customers are charged RM 5 as delivery charge on top of the price of their meal. At the moment, UberEATS Malaysia only accept credit card and debit cards. In near future cash option will be provided. The leading time for the foot to reach your door steps is initialed around 30 minutes.

To adapt in to our local market, Uber has actually worked with the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) order to meet the country’s halal requirement. There will be separate bags for halal and non-halal orders.
