KLIA ranked fourth fastest Wi-Fi speed in the world

According to the latest report from RottenWifi which tested 226 airports worldwide, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) ranked as having the fourth fastest speed in the world. KLIA’s 34.02 Mbps placed third last year. KLIA was overtaken by Don Mueng International Airport (DMK) which has the wifi speed of 37.10 Mbps.

Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, USA, topped the list with 42.17Mbps. The second place went to the Estonian airport Lennart Meri Tallinn with 38.30 Mbps followed by Don Mueang International Airport, Thailand.

USA and Thailand are leading the way in providing the fastest WiFi in the world with 7 and 6 airports respectively featured on the Top 20 global list. As Internet access becomes an essential in daily routines, a stable and fast Wifi connection will be much appreciated by travellers while waiting for flight.
