Huawei introduces latest entry level smartphone—Huawei Y3 (2017)

In recent years, Huawei has established as one of the top smartphone manufacturers in the world. They have released a couple of notable flagship models such as Mate 9 and P10 series that has been well received in the global scene.

Now, Huawei is attempting to storm the entry level market by launching its latest low cost smartphone namely Huawei Y3 (2017).

The new Huawei Y3 is a revamped of last year’s model that offers  a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display, running either on a quad-core MT6737M SoC clocked at 1.1GHz or a quad-core MT6580M SoC clocked at 1.3GHz. Both models has 1GB of RAM, 8GB expandable storage up to 32GB, 2200mAh size battery and running EMUI 4.1 Mini  based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Camera wise, it comes with an 8-megapixel primary rear camera, with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. There is a 2-megapixel front camera for selfies.

For connectivity, it offers dual SIM card slots that support 4G networks, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS/ A-GPS.

The Huawei Y3 (2017) will be made available in Gold, Pink, Blue, White, and Gray colours. As far as the pricing and availability are concerned, we will inform you once they are official.
