Huawei trademarked the Mate 10’s screen as EntireView Display

As we have reported earlier, Huawei Mate 10 will allegedly be unveiled as early as on October 16. Now we have been alerted that Huawei has trademarked its latest trend of naming screen technologies called EntireView Display for the Mate 10 screen.

Huawei has become the third major manufacturer to patent a dedicated name for its display just behind LG with FullVision and Samsung with Infinity Display.

We are aware that the Huawei Mate 10 will be offering a bezel-free display identical to the LG G6 and the Galaxy S8 lineup. This has been confirmed by Richard Yu, chief of Huawei consumer division as the patent is listed at the EU Intellectual Property Office.

The Mate 10 is believed to offer a 6 inch screen with 18:9 ratio with 2160 x 1080 pixels, and it will run on Huawei’s new 10 nm process chipset Kirin 970.
