Huawei Mate 10 Pro achieved 97points, ranked just behind Google Pixel 2 at DXOMark

Huawei New Flagship Mate 10 Pro scored an excellent result in DxoMark with 97points.

Huawei Mate 10 Pro features a 12MP RGB + a 20MP Monochrome dual lens Camera Setup which certified & Moderated by Leica. Both lens’ aperture are increased to F1.6. Moreover both lens comes with Optical Image Stabilizer. The phablet supports four in one hybrid focus system and 4K video recording.

DxOmark today released the result of Mate 10 Pro in their website. It accumulated an overall DxOMark Mobile score of 97 points. Mate 10 Pro is now the second best device camera performance with just a single point behind the Google Pixel 2.

DxOMark explains how to mobiles tests is done : “DxOMark engineers capture and evaluate over 1500 test images and more than 2 hours of video in both controlled lab environments and in natural indoor and outdoor scenes.”

As the result of the tests, Mate 10 Pro excels for still photography, which encored a phenomenal Photo sub-score of 100 points, matching the currently highest Photo sub-score of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

While the result for video is positive with 91points: “The Mate 10 Pro is no slouch in video mode, either. It’s not quite on the same outstanding level as for stills, but is nonetheless capable of delivering a very solid video performance all around.”
