HTC sells factory to invest in VR business

After selling off Beats Electronics in 2013, HTC sells of its 28 acre Factory in Shanghai, China for CNY 630 million (RM404.4 million) to Xingbao Information Technology.

HTC has confirmed through Taiwan media that funds generated will be invest in Virtual Reality business as the success on the Vive VR headset has increase further interest by the management.

While having continuous decline in smartphone industry, refocusing in VR business is definitely a good move for HTC to gain more market share.
