As of late, we have heard rumors circulating on the internet revealing that Huawei plans to release an international version of the pre-launch Honor V9.

The Honor V9 is Honor’s upcoming flagship model for the China market that is scheduled to launch on February 21. It will be offered in 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants and sports a 5.7-inch QHD display.

Recently, a Russian website — Hi-Tech says there will be a new Honor smartphone using the same hardware called Honor 8 Pro to be unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress event held at Barcelona.

Specifications wise, the Honor 8 Pro will feature a Kirin 960 SoC, 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of expandable storage and two 12MP rear cameras with an 8MP front facing camera. It will come with Android Nougat out of the box and mounted with a rear fingerprint scanner.

The only difference that separate the two devices is the removal of the China Mobile logo seen on the image of the Honor V9 shown above.
