Honor Band Zero launched: Retailing at RM257 in China
Huawei announced Honor 7i and Honor Band Zero at a press conference held in China today. The Honor Band Zero is a cross-over between a smartwatch and a fitness tracker based on its look.
It is made out of metal with a round body surrounded by thick bezels. Its body dimension measures at 38 x 95mm, and weighing in at 25 grams. It has a 1.06 inch 128X128 pixels OLED display. The band is IP68 dust and water resistant, which is powered by a 70 mAh size of battery.
Huawei claims its battery can last for around 4 days of moderate usage and up to 14 days of standby time. The band is compatible with Android 4.4+ and iOS 7+ operating systems.
You can charge it using the POGO pins which are available on the bottom and the device uses Bluetooth 4.1 for connectivity.
This decent looking Honor wearable is mainly used for fitness tracking, sleep tracking, push notification and basic function of a watch.
It is available for sale today via Huawei China’s official VMall store and a Chinese reseller at JingDong Mall (JD.com) for a retail price of CNY399 (approximately RM257). We expect Honor Malaysia to release it soon in our market with a price of less than RM300.
