Earlier this month, we have reported that Honor 8 Lite has quietly go on sale in European market. Now, Honor has officially introduced the device for the China market alongside Honor V9.

Being classified as the simplified model of the Honor 8, the Honor 8 Lite still offers a simple yet elegant design comparable to its sibling.

Specifications wise, the Honor 8 Lite comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display and is running on the Kirin 655 chipset. Unlike the Honor 8, it is equipped with a single 12-megapixel rear camera and a 8MP front shooter. This slim smartphone with a glass back with a 12-layer mirror coating and surrounded by metal frame is powered by a  3,000mAh capacity battery.

Out of the box, it runs Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.0 UI on top and sports a fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear panel.

This model is available in a few variants: The 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB ROM version will be available at CNY 1,099 (around RM711), while the higher spec model with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB ROM will cost slightly higher at CNY 1,399 (around RM905). If you prefer higher storage, the 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage variant is priced at CNY 1,599 (around RM1,035). There are four color options available for you to choose, which are Midnight Black, Streamer Gold, Sea Blue, and Pearl White.
