Google Android Market will officially end service support on June 30th

Wait a moment and taking your deep breath. Yes, google is going to end the support for Android Market on Android 2.1 Eclair and below.

Do not panic while reading this article, it is mentioned here that Google Android Market is not the service you are now using the Google Play Store.

 

The change will see users who are still on these Android version will no longer be able to access, or install other apps from, the Android Market. The change will happen without a notification on the device, due to technical restrictions in the original Android Market app.
