Goodbye TouchWiz, Hello Samsung Experience!

TouchWiz had served Samsung smartphone for years, and now it’s time for some major overhaul. In Samsung latest Nougat beta test for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, we found that Samsung has replaced their TouchWiz to a new name, Samsung Experience, which is about time.

TouchWiz was often criticized for it overwhelming features and excessive bloatware, which slows down its phone with excessive amount of unnecessary apps running in the background, especially on their lower-end Galaxy smartphones. Fortunately, Samsung heard all these criticisms and has been working hard behind the scenes to polish and improve its software to the TouchWiz recently. But now, Samsung has ditched the name “TouchWiz” away.

For current state, Samsung has no any statement to confirm this replacement. Since this appeared in Samsung latest Beta patch, the Samsung Experience UI seems to be official when the official Nougat update release.
