[EXCLUSIVE] Apple’s iPad Pro, Apple Pencil and new iMac had received SIRIM’s certification!

Our regular tipster, Kevin Ng has just informed us that a host of new Apple products has been approved by SIRIM Malaysia. Below shown are the devices that has been certified at SIRIM database and registered under Apple Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

These i devices that are going to launch in our local market soon are iMac which comes in 21 inch and 27 inch sizes, iPad Pro and Apple’s first ever Stylus namely Apple Pencil.

All the above latest Apple merchandises were first brought to the big stage last month. The iPad Pro is one of the highlights of the launch event alongside iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

iPad Pro features a 12.9 inch 2048 x 2732 pixels IPS display which is running on Apple A9X under the hood. It is mated with a large 4GB RAM and storage wise it offers 32GB and 128 GB options.

Its camera combo is 8MP rear and 1.2MP front. Its nano SIM card can support 4G LTE connectivity. There’s also fingerprint ID on this device too.

The iPad Pro also supports Apple Pencil and its battery is non-removable which Apple claims can sustain talktime for up to 10 hours.

On the pricing segment, the lowest spec version (32GB WiFi) costs USD799 (approx. RM3,405), while the 128GB WiFi version is sold at USD949 (approx. RM4,040) and the internet connectivity version with 128GB is priced at USD1,079 (approx. RM4,593).

How much will it costs here? We are speculating the iPad Pro to be retailed from RM3,500 and above when it is officially available in our market.

Thanks again for the tips, Kevin Ng!
