Beware of buying fake OPPO devices
Recently there’s a lot of clone or counterfeit OPPO smartphones found in our local market. OPPO Malaysia Headquarter had received reports from service center since January this year that more than 700 OPPO smartphones that were sent to service center for warranty claim were counterfeit products!
Currently, OPPO has found several dealers including one well-known online store is involved. Legal action upon this counterfeit issue had been taken against them and all involved parties received warnings that OPPO is going to take aggressive stance within law towards this matter.
On behalf of this issue, OPPO has released guides for OPPO consumers in order to enhance the identification and prevention of counterfeit goods in circulation.
The display screen between the original OPPO N3 and the clone N3 is quite drastic as the clone N3 has a low resolution screen.
The fake N3 camera cannot be rotated while the original OPPO N3 can be rotated.
OPPO Find 7’s clone come in pink which looks like a toy phone instead of a flagship device.
Furthermore, other ways to identify the difference between the original OPPO device and the fake device can be seen through the device box, their specifications and the hardwares.
These are just a few examples on how to identify original OPPO device and fake ones. Do not try to buy fake devices to avoid disappointment, urged OPPO Malaysia.
